When I first got started, I found the task of cleaning the chemicals our of our diet completely overwhelming, after all, I had no time, picky eaters and a limited budget.  So you might also want to ask, "What one thing does our family consume the most of in any given week that I'd like to adjust?" and then change that. Or, if that sounds too much like a battle, pick something trivial, that no one will notice, and change that. Just get started-the rest will come in time.

Commit perhaps to making only one change each week. Or one change each month. Pick something that seems small enough, and easy enough, that you can actually picture yourself doing it. And that won't break the bank.
